Metallic Hose
HD&F offer a wide range of metallic hose options to suit ever demanding applications. These hoses are specified due to their increased performance characteristics:

They are used in a wide variety of applications, whether conveying liquids or gases, in particular for gas supply, transfer of steam, food stuffs, chemicals and hot liquids. We manufacture using a variety of materials based on your exact needs, for both hose and end fittings.
For aggressive chemical applications, we can offer PTFE hoses which are real problem solvers for a wide variety of aggressive liquids, whilst performing in extreme pressures and temperatures. PTFE is also non-toxic and suitable for food, drink and pharmaceutical applications.

HD&F has a range of stainless steel flexible corrugated metallic hoses available, which are manufactured to BS6501 Part 1 1991 Type B, quality assured standards. The size range is 6mm to 250mm nominal bore.
Stainless steel wire braiding is applied externally in single or double layers depending on the hose application, working pressure and operating conditions. Braiding corrugated hose increases its ability to withstand pressure, has increased hoop strength and abrasion resistance.
Corrugated stainless steel hose is capable of operating in a temperature range of -200ºC to +600ºC, and is ideal for many industrial applications, whether conveying liquids or gases.

Convoluted PTFE S&D Hoses Polymer Anti-Static Liner Offering all the benefits of standard PTFE but the anti-static liner is essential where there is a risk of the build up of an electrostatic charge when conveying flammable liquids such as fuels and solvents. Available with 304 stainless steel overbraid and polymer braid. Please specify your application and HD&F can assist in recommending a suitable assembly. |
